Wagrain in
winter

Winter activities in Wagrain include downhill and cross-country skiing, winter hiking, skating, curling, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoe hiking, tobogganing, tandem paragliding and Nordic walking.

There are three gondola lifts in Wagrain from which you can start your day skiing or snowboarding at all levels. From gentle slopes to challenging black pistes, you can enjoy hundreds of kilometres of the best alpine ski slopes, serviced by some of the most modern lifts.

Flachauwinkl's snow park, which includes a snowboard arena, offers plenty of challenges, and you can enjoy a fantastic toboggan ride down the valley from the middle stations on the Grafenberg and Flying Mozart lifts.

There is an illuminated skating rink at the foot of the Flying Mozart lift, where you can test your abilities as a skating princess, complete with background music.

There is access to around 220 km of beautiful cross-country trails in the region, such as the one to Kleinarl and on to Jägersee. The trail offers beautiful mountain vistas, right to the bottom of the valley.
